You are a new organization; how do I know that you can do what you say you will do?

Like any new organization, our ability to perform will depend on how realistic the organizational goals are, and the people and financial resources that are available. We have the people, the knowledge, the connections, and a proven model for success. We need the money, and if we get the money, we can accomplish our goals.

To achieve its mission, Commonweal Institute will use proven techniques and methods from the fields of marketing, communications, public relations, and linguistics. We will also incorporate the information available from proven models for changing public attitudes into our operations.

The Commonweal Institute's founders have the professional experience to set up the structure, and to provide the management oversight necessary to identify resources and establish a smooth operation.

Commonweal Institute has an Advisory Board that includes those that can provide key inputs to the organization in technical areas, such as issue framing and psychographic market segmentation. The fact that a number of the Advisory Board members can play the dual role of being advisors and also providing critical and proven resources to the organization will help to ensure the success of the Commonweal Institute.

Finally, the organization will require substantial financial resources. This is our biggest challenge, and we are focusing our energies and resources to meet this challenge. You and others like you can help the Commonweal Institute achieve its funding goals. A major element in our fund raising program will be to identify and get a broad base of citizen support, as well as support from major donors. If we are successful in our fund raising, we are confident that Commonweal Institute will be able to accomplish its mission.
